Wall plates are plastic and ugly looking. This wall plate is made from Leopardwood (Central & South America) and is in the shape we call SHIELD. It is designed to fit over an existing light switch and adds the much character. It is 1/4" thick and slightly bigger than your old plate. Simply use the screws you already have! It is quite handsome.
