Wall plates (light switch plates) are usually rectangular, plastic and less than attractive. They never reflect the good character of the room. This wall plate is made from Yellowheart (Brazil) and is in the shape we call SCULPTED (anything but rectangular). It is designed to fit over an existing light switch and adds that much-needed character. It is 1/4" thick and slightly bigger than your old plate. Simply use the screws you already have! We really like this one.
